چکیده

In 2020, there were more than 1.2 million new skin cancer diagnoses, and melanoma was the most recurrent type of cancer. On other hand, is least common but serious form affecting both men women. This work aims to assemble classification models detect a case with high accuracy based on Convolutional Neural Networks system. The methodology considers training 21 for image classification, best assembly performance EfficientNet VGG-19 architectures, data augmentation technique used images improve its performance. results show 92.85% accuracy, 71.50% sensitivity, 94.89% specificity, an improvement 0.06% in specificity. achieved higher classification.

Non-melanoma skin cancer diagnosis with a convolutional neural network

Background: The most common types of non-melanoma skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). AKIEC -Actinic keratoses (Solar keratoses) and intraepithelial carcinoma (Bowen’s disease)- are common non-invasive precursors of SCC, which may progress to invasive SCC, if left untreated. Due to the importance of early detection in cancer treatment, this study aimed...

Skin Lesion Classification: Transformation-based Approach to Convolutional Neural Networks

Diagnosing malignant skin lesions early is often the difference between life or death. With the increasing accessibility of deep learning tools that have demonstrated outstanding performance for image classification, it is no surprise that there has been an extensive effort to employ neural networks in the diagnosis of skin lesions. We explore a method of late-fusion of three identical CNN’s mo...

Skin Lesion Classification Using Deep Multi-scale Convolutional Neural Networks

Melanoma is a malignant tumour originating from melanocytes cells skin cells responsible for the production of melanin. The American Cancer Society estimates that in the United States alone for 2017, more than 87,000 new melanoma cases will be diagnosed and around 9,300 persons are expected to die[1]. Skin melanoma lesions are very challenging to visually diagnose due to their similarity in vis...

Cancer Hallmark Text Classification Using Convolutional Neural Networks

Methods based on deep learning approaches have recently achieved state-of-the-art performance in a range of machine learning tasks and are increasingly applied to natural language processing (NLP). Despite strong results in various established NLP tasks involving general domain texts, there is only limited work applying these models to biomedical NLP. In this paper, we consider a Convolutional ...

Classification of breast cancer histology images using Convolutional Neural Networks

Breast cancer is one of the main causes of cancer death worldwide. The diagnosis of biopsy tissue with hematoxylin and eosin stained images is non-trivial and specialists often disagree on the final diagnosis. Computer-aided Diagnosis systems contribute to reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of this process. Conventional classification approaches rely on feature extraction methods desig...
